What are *ALL* the supported formats for the Sony PRS 505 ebook reader
Thanks, but after that public domain debacle, I wouldn't have a wireless ebook for any money ! I don't want Amazon controlling what I can read! My money goes to Son PRS 505 which, Incidentally has a couple more types of files it can read.

They are: PDFs, TXT, RTF, BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG, Microsoft Word files, MP3 and AAC files. You can see them in the technical details section here:

However, I'll suggest you to have the Amazon Kindle if you're considering to buy an ebook reader. The Kindle can give you much more selection of content. I remember I read these reviews when I decided to get my Kindle 2:

And in case you don't know, Amazon has put a price slash on the Kindle 2 and it is now $100 cheaper than the price I got mine. So it is definitely a better buy.
