Sony Prs-505 Reader Digital Book t-mobile dash and adobe digital editions?
I was wondering if I would be able to use adobe digital editions on my t-mobile dash phone. I read somewhere that I would be able to use active sinc (a program that comes with the phone) to download applications I use on windows. I'm not sure if the programs have have a mobile version.. or what. If not, is there another program that will run adobe digital edition files (AKA digital books from my library). Adobe says that the program will work on Sony® Reader PRS-505 .. but does not support any other device at this point.
FYI Mobipocket is they way to go on this one I just need to figure out which one to download. Thanks for your help
I'd suggest contacting Customer Care at T-Mobile and ask to be transferred to the PDA department. We have an entire department that handles everything about PDAs (except for setting them up as modems). Customer Care is at 1-800-937-8997; they're open from 6:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. eastern time.

Couldn't history be preserved by associating a hash with the digital book?
I download a lot of public domain books from Google Books and then perform OCR on them to make them searchable. While a scan is not the same as a book originally published in digital format, the ability to perform a keyword scan is a great research tool. Doing that on a book written in 1812 saves a lot of time.
