Is the Sony PRS 700 screen really that bad?

I am going to get either the Sony PRS 550 o r700. I am trying to decide which one I want to get. My problem is I keep reading all the reviews that say the 700 has very bad glare problems and that the contrast is so much worse than the 550. What do you think? Does anyone have either of these and what do you think??
Thanks everyone for your answers. I was able to go to Borders and look at the Sony PRS-505 (sorry for the typo earlier) and the PRS-700 and the screen on the 700 is really really BAD!!! I bought the 505 and I love it!!! I decided not to go with the Kindle because I could not look at it first. that was my main problem and I really like the Sony Store.

I'm a Kindle 2 owner and I'll suggest you to get the Kindle 2 instead as we can get books anywhere with the free wireless access. For screen problem, I like the screen of the Kindle 2 very much, as it uses an e-ink technology which make reading on it like reading on a piece of paper. I like reading a lot and so far I feel quite comfortable to read with the Kindle.
