Soler Power in Space?
I am doing a project on solar panels in space. I've been researching for a while, but I can't find a website that tells me how to calculate the amount of energy received by the Sun at a specific point in space. I know that in Low-Earth Orbit it's around 1300W/m^2 or something like that...
But whats the formula for a specific point? Does it change as light travels through space?

Yes it changes.
If the panels are on a space station or satelite orbiting earth then your figure of 1300 is correct.
If however your panels are on a ship moving about the solar system it will change according to the reciprical of the square of itts distance from the sun, for instance near Venus the panels will be about twice as powerful (2600) near mars about half as powerful (650)
Take the distance to the space ship from the sun, divide it by the distance to the earth from the sun (93 million miles or 1AU) and find the square and invert it.
EG at 186 million miles (2AU) the power is 1/2 ^2 = 1/4 (one quarter)
Postscript
Radon is wrong, the 1300 you mention is not calculated it is measured, you can do this yourself by putting cold water in a black plastic bottle (spray a coke can black) and leaving it in the sun for an hour and measure the temperature change.

Yeah, before going through the advantages of solar power systems, it may be a warm up to clarify the ‘solar power’. Solar power is different from solar energy, and SP is generation of electricity from sunlight. Well, as long as we have the sun, we can have solar energy. This is the main advantage of it as it is renewable.
Though it needs an initial investment, it will be a tremendous advantage for every home. It never sticks you in a queue and never causes a billing. The other advantage of solar power is quite limitless supply. It does not cause pollution as they generate electricity without any emissions. It seems more flexible to fix for any energy purpose.
Solar power can be used for impressive array of devices from calculator to satellites. As the time passes the technology of solar power generation is progressively advance. Also newer technologies have enabled us to store the solar electricity we connect though the use of solar power battery charges.
It is more suited in remote areas. It is not easy to run power lines out but to install solar panels. It much not requires frequent maintenance in fact no more maintenance costs.
Another factor is as if we place the solar panels on rooftops, helps to absorbs heat which directly hits the house and slightly cooling the roof and so that the rooms too. Also it won’t discharge any toxic contents. And not making harm to health.
Apart from this, it is indirectly healthy costs. It is healthier and safely for home purposes. We no need to worry about electric shock or burns by kerosene uses. It minimizes negative blows on surrounding ambiance.
Though the expense is high to get the solar panels, we do not require to pay for energy from the sun.
