My Nook is completely frozen!?

Okay, so I was on my Nook that I've had for about 2 months when it suddenly went blank with only the top bar with the time & name on it. I tried rebooting it but it refuses to restart. I took out the battery and left it unplugged & the screen was STILL frozen on it! What do I do? I tried following the directions by leaving the battery out then just plugging it into the AC Adapter but I doubt it will do anything. I love my Nook & I don't wanna get another ereader! Please help me fix it!

For your situation I think the best way is if you reformat your hard drive. Before you do, make sure you back up all your important files and transfer them to a new hard drive.
This is a device that allows you to do so:

You connect the old hard drive to this device, and then the device to a another computer or laptop via USB. You would then be able to access all the files on it.
I got the device off a PC World Magazine Article.
Best of luck!
