If i buy an in car cd player with a USB hole can i plug in and play an i-pod?
It's my boyfriends B*day soon and i want to get him a CD player for his car.
I have had a look at a few players and have seen some with usb holes on them, but i have also seen ones that say they have i-pod connection but they are considerably more expensive!
That is correct NO the usb plug is for any other mp3 player no ipods
you need to find a radio that comes with the ipod plug or you can buy/ add the ipod cable not USB

How can I use my Zen V plus with my USB-enabled car stereo?
My stereo(kenwood KDC-X491) has a front usb port, where I can plub in jump drives or mp3 players. I tried with my zen v, and it will start playing the first directory, but I can switch folders. as a test, I used a regular jump drive, and that worked fine. Can I make the zen work? I could format it as removeable media, but then I can't use the player on its own.
My guess is that the USB only reads the device as a hard disk which is why the thumb drive plays okay. Does your car stereo have a AUX jack? If so you should be able to just plug your Zen into that and switch your stereo to Aux and it should play fine.

Back in the early 80's with arcade, Atari 2600, Colecovision, C64, I got minimum money for these items, and I enjoyed them for some reason. Now, I buy and barely get through a full campaign.
Steve. I tell you,I got nailed for piracy (Bravo Hits). Stay away from copyrighted media!! Lawyers are now supporting (catchers) to get easy money. I paid 900 Euros for two songs on two Bravo Hit CDs (for the artists/writers)

Your card reader is probably not compatible with SDHC.
While the physical size of the SDHC card may be the same as SD cards, the electronics are different and not backwards compatible.
