Can I charge my Kindle 2 from 220 Volt plugger?

Hey!
I am a frequent traveller, so I decided to buy something that could help me to kill some time during my loooooong flights.
Currently I am in Europe, and I am trying to charge my Kindle 2. I have already tried to charge it via USB, and via "wireless charger". Both ways didn't work out.
Now I am thinking about trying out a wall plugger, but I am a bit worried - it is 220 Volt.
I remember that Kindles are designed for american standard of 110 Volt, and I am worried that something in my Kindle may burn out (the same out the adapter for my xbox 360 did).
So the question is - is it possible to charge Kindle 2 via 220 Volt plugger?
Please, answer fast - I am really excited about one of the books I started reading yesterday, ad I really want to finish it!
